I made this pattern for several reasons: because it features a cat, birds, and because I love the way that snow looks on Dimensions patterns. The reason for starting it in August was because when my surroundings are hot (as southern Spain always is in the summer!) I often take to reading books set in cold climates, like Alaska. So this was a way for me to capture my own romantiziced view of the north, while enjoying the heat in Spain.
