I started this pattern because I really wanted to make a mermaid in the middle of summer! I hand dyed the fabric myself and after much trial and error, finally managed to get something I liked. I used my own beads and made some adjustments to the beading pattern. I started the pattern in Spain, and finished it while on holidays in Belgium. Very happy with it!
Edit: I frogged some beads and added one of my grandmother's faux pearls to the pattern, to make it extra special:
